Bill Beckley, Avoidance of Ann - 1972

I had been married for exactly one year. I decided to take my wife to Kansas. We found a small resort. There was a lake and a pool by the motel. The first day the sun burned her skin, so we returned to the room. I relaxed by the pool. A blond with a yellow bikini caught my eye, and I saw another girl with darker hair and a darker suit standing by the diving board. The blond struck up a conversation and the girl in the dark suit winked. The blond invited me to her room. I called my wife and lied. I told her I was going fishing. We undressed and sat on the bed. I touched her arm and bent close. She kissed me briefly, then turned over on her stomach, got up on all fours and arched her back suggestively. I hesitated as she coaxed me, then blatantly refused explaining that this particular act was sodomy. I returned to the pool. The girl in the dark suit came over. She invited me to her room. I called my wife and told her that the wind had died and we would have to wait for an evening gust to bring us home. I followed the dark girl into the motel. We took the elevator to the top floor and were so excited that we disrobed on the way up. By the time we reached the end of the hallway we were naked. After a long breathless moment she found the keys and opened the door. Inside there was a large animal sitting on the bed. It had gray and brown fir, a long pointed tail--in fact both ends looked alike, because the head took the form of a long pointed snout. She sat on the bed and started stroking its back. She asked me to come sit beside them. I refused. I knew that this too would be sodomy. I dressed. I sneaked down the outside stairs thinking that my wife might see me coming from another room. I had not anticipated her being in the pool. Sure enough, there she was floating in a circular shaped tube filled with air. Just in time I dove into the pool. I lay at the bottom waiting several seconds to come up. I did not know which way she was looking. My air ran out. I rose and surfaced. She looked at me and said, "Damn you." I held on to her tube.
